I sampled 4 different reds - the two on the card are - top - Tamiya’s Italian red - the bottom is Model Master enamel Italian red - i think the Model master would be correct for the Lemans winner - but chass .0010 is a lighter red - the Shirley family went to great lengths to do an accurate representation of the Spa winner - so I’m using the Tamiya red …

Always a bit touchy to pick the right red tone for a vintage Ferrari, between old pics or newer pics of restored cars. Look forward to your feedback on the effect of pink primer on final color. Never tried that myself.
