The Suburban body is looking nice. A thought on the front wheel for the trailer. The trailers used for boats of this size and weight usually are supported by a small cross member at the front. The support for the wheel passes thru the small crossmember adding both strength to the frame and the crank system for raising and lowering the wheel. This will also make it somewhat easier to replicate.

The seat I posted on Thursday will not be used. A forlorn Rolls Royce phaeton donated hers.

I will attempt to make a windscreen out of of a junk one. Mking a filler panel to go between the top of the rear seat and the deck.

Hi Pat!  I just came across your thread, and I love it!  Your Suburban looks fantastic, and the boat is going to be awesome!  I’ve got a few pics of a build that I did using the same Suburban kit, and a toy hauler trailer.  I did a trailer hitch/jack that looks quite similar to yours, and a hitch receiver for the truck.  I wound up taking the spare tire, making a cover for it and putting it inside agains the left rear wall of the interior, in order to make room for the trailer hitch underneath.  Also, I’ve got a boat project that I’ve been working on using a 62 Tbird.  I’ll use a matching tow car to pull it. the Jack wheel and stem slides down and locks using the handle position, to support the trailer tongue when uncoupled from the tow vehicle.F8F62CB8-5315-460B-A744-E22BDB51671E.thumb.jpeg.58bd358924de4689e6a22c5c6856b849.jpeg

Where did you source the Outboard Motor ?  Great looking dash and gauges.

I can't remember, I'll look it up.

Done. I am happy with the Suburban, not so much with the boat.

Pat.....very, so very cool!  Great idea and a very engaging build project to go with it.  Your photography (and backgrounds) only adds to the scale realism.  Big congrats from this corner....TIM
