So, the question was asked about overall height. It is too tall. Well, too tall to be legal in our current day. However, this is a truck from the future after the colapse of the government due to a new strain of Covid called Meridia 13G. The owner of this truck is living in the deserts of the southwest USA where most overpasses are very high, the few that remain. The truck is about 15 feet 7 inches.

The Full story about the owner and his family and the current world situation will be explained in the under glass post. For now I am just moving forward with the build.

I have been working on the shipping container camper. I have added the top rack and filled it with some junk. Mostly old junk from the parts box, butI did nclude some aluminum tubes, wood, and a spare tire. I then covered the junk with a tarp (tissue paper) and some rope to hold it all in place.

I have added more rust to the camer and weathered the oil drums. I added a crack to the from windsheild and some oil drips from the drums. In te rear I added a spare tire carrier, still needs to be detailed/weathered. I have more work to do weathering the tarp also and I may add another to the over the cab storage area.

I still need to add a ladder to get into the upper storage rack and a way to get into the camper. I may also add a roof excape hatch. I may also be adding some more lights to the front and maybe the rear. However I am not too sure if I will add turn signals or brake lights. Witht he fall of the government there are no police and laws are not inforced.

That looks incredible! If I might add my two pennies,…., it needs a bull bar out front, post apocalyptic radiator repair is virtually non existent, and a winch seems like a must have for those unexpected incidents.

You are correct, I had thought about the winch, I will add the bull bar to the list.

I got some more work done on the truck this weekend. I was told it needed a Bull bar and a winch. I created the winch out of parts box junk and the Bull Bar out of Evergreen. The hook was filed out of .040x.250 Evergreen also. The winch is hidden behind the bumper  and is not easy to see without flipping the truck over, but it can be seen hanging down if you look close.

I also have been working on a Solar panel. It is currently not attached and is clean and shinny because I just got it done. I will dust it up after I attach it.

I also created a platform that folds up to enter and a ladder to get in and to reach the roof.

My son suggested I add a water barrel to the back door, so I will do that.

Unless I can think of anything else to add, I should have this done in the next couple of weeks.

Scott you just keep making this better and better with the more you add. I think this is going to be a ever on going build as time goes on you will keep adding as you think of more things to add to it.
