Is there an acrylic hobby paint that matches Portola Red interior color?

Have you used Vallejo Model Air 71.084 Fire Red or compared it to Portola Red?

I have used SEM interior paints- "hot" stuff, may react with primer or unusually soft styrene.

That's why I'm looking for something close in a hobby acrylic.  I have Testors Insignia Red acrylic but it's a bit too red.

You may want to pick up some Tamiya Insignia Red and Hull Red, experiment with mixing the two to get your desired shade. It looks like Portola red has a reddish-brown component. If you want to stay with Testors, you could add some of their Leather and possibly a bit of black to the mix to dial in something closer.

I use Vallejo paints regularly; however, I haven't had a need for that particular color. If you google "Portola Red", you'll notice that the Vallejo color is a close match to the different available versions of Portola Red.

Mr.Hobby Russet may be close, it is a laquer though.

There's RAL 8013 Rotbraun from AK Interactive. It has a brownish hue like Portola Red.

The one I have is laquer (#81), but I think they have it in acrylic, #33 maybe? This pic is plucked off the internet, so not sure how accurate it is.

I just added a tiny drop of Testors Aircraft Interior Black to the Testors Insignia Red and it looks almost 100% on.  I was hoping for something straight out of the bottle but this mixture works for me.
