I have admired  60's front engine rail dragsters since I had a presentation at school about drag racing 50 years ago (the theme was chosen by myself - no one else had any knowledge about dragsters then). Having built a very delicate 1/16 Revell FE rail in the mid 80's, I wanted to have a die-cast, and a few years ago I could buy a "kit" (partially assembled diecast) by 1320 in 1/24 scale: Roland Leong's "Hawaiian" Top Fuel dragster. It was assembled in a very short time out of the box - I only added Goodyear decals to the rear tires.

I was not familiar with the 1320 dragsters till I saw yours Helmut.  I did a search and was surprised at the number and quality of the 1320 offerings in 1/24 scale.  Thank you very much for posting yours.  It is certainly impressive.

Thank you, Gary - I have read first about 1320 dragsters in SAE magazine - must be about 20 years ago - they offer almost only finished models, but some years ago there were several "kits" (I believe only one or two different models were available) for about 20 $ + postage on ebay, so I ordered this one - it was put together in about 1 hour ( the engine was already completed ) - you had to  connect frame rails, axles, body parts and wheels and fix the whole thing with some screws.
