slusher Posted December 11, 2021 Posted December 11, 2021 Saw that on the news. I use to watch their show. Had some of their records..
OldTrucker Posted December 11, 2021 Posted December 11, 2021 Mickey is alone now. Sad news My band played a lot of their songs back in the day. 1
Lunajammer Posted December 12, 2021 Posted December 12, 2021 He was such an innovator. We enjoyed his concert in Minneapolis a few years ago. I never got into the Monkees much but I loved his video and film work in the 80's and his contributions to early MTV. His movie Repo Man has always been one of my favorite dark comedies. You should read P.J. O'Rourke's book "Driving Like Crazy" about he and Nesmith driving the Baja 1000. Nesmith first competed in 1969 on a Triumph motorcycle then raced a Class 8 desert truck for a number of years.
