dsummone Posted February 8, 2022 Posted February 8, 2022 How do you guys mock up suspensions so that you can remove them for paint? (Glued)?
Dave72 Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 Depending on the parts, I put a very tiny dab of glue on the parts with a toothpick or use pieces of small gage wire and a tiny drill and pin the parts together. Hope this helps. 1

Mr. Metallic Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 I do lots of pin and hole work on my builds. Just makes stronger assemblies overall, and allows you to assemble/disassemble it as many times as you want without worrying about glue and stuff. 1
afx Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 (edited) Big fan of pining suspension and other parts, you can see the mounting pins on the rear springs I've added. I will tape the parts in place as well for a mockup. Edited February 9, 2022 by afx 1
