1972coronet Posted February 10, 2022 Posted February 10, 2022 Ostensibly, the Revell 1969 Corvette Coupe has been discontinued. I snoozed and I losed -- I've been wanting its Tri-Power induction (including air cleaner) for a couple of pending projects. Does anyone offer that L71 in resin? Is that engine available in any other Revell 1/25 scale kits (1965-1967 Corvette, for example)?

I know it isn't much help, but the air cleaner is in this kit...no manifold or carbs. 1

I'm afraid that I don't understand your stating that there's ''no manifold or carbs.'' -- the air cleaner is a facade? Thanks for your reply and your help.

The yellow Box art kit has the faceted air cleaner with the 3 impressions on underside on the chrome tree. But only has the single 4 barrel carb & intake manifold...or the dual quads on the blower included. 1
Snake45 Posted February 10, 2022 Posted February 10, 2022 Would the tripower from the '67 roadster kit work for you? I have a spare you can have. Let me know. 1

Saves me from buying an entire kit (not that I'm adverse to having and building a '69 Corvette Coupe) just for its induction.

Shark Posted February 10, 2022 Posted February 10, 2022 The kit with the yellow car is a 1968 convertible and didn't come with the tri-power set up, the air cleaner was a carry over from the 1969 coupe which had the carbs and intake. 1
1972coronet Posted February 11, 2022 Author Posted February 11, 2022 Thanks to all whom have taken the time to review and respond to my post. A big 'THANK YOU!' to Snake for graciously sending to me the intake / carbs / air cleaner from his parts reserves !
Snake45 Posted February 12, 2022 Posted February 12, 2022 I found a couple more sources for the L71 setup. Most reissues of the AMT '63 Vette Coupe kit have it (left over from when it was a '67). Also, the AMT '70 Impala has the manifold and carbs, but three "bug eye" air cleaners. But as we've learned, the triangle air cleaner is in that Revell '68 roadster with the yellow car on the box. 2
