Anyone here have one of these 1/24 Greenlight '64 Winnebago travel trailers?  I'm just wondering how the 1/24 trailer would look with a 1/25 pickup.  Sometimes the scale difference can be large and sometimes not.

Here is a picture of my Greenlight Winnebago that just happens to be parked next to a Johan '65 Rambler , I think they are close enough to be mated to most 1/25 cars and trucks

Those are really cool...I have some of their 1/64th trailers, will have to look into the 1/24th ones.  They have Airstreams in 1/24th also, I think.

The Rambler is 1/24 scale also.  Jo-Han called the AMC items 1/25 on the kit boxes, but 1/24 on the promo specific boxes (not to be confused with the generic "toy store friction car" boxes).  AMC would have had more "say" over the promos, also every Jo-Han AMC item I ever put a ruler to measured out to 1/24 scale in critical areas like wheelbase and overall width.

I didnt take that into account , here is a picture of the GreenLight trailer with a known 1/25 scale AMT '60 Chevy pick up

I don't think the scale difference amounts to much in any event.  Has anyone measured the trailer?  I'm wary when it comes to diecast, as many of them are smaller than advertised in order to fit a specific package, which takes up only so much space on a store shelf...

Without a 1:1 to measure against , and assuming the 1:1 is listed as a 16ft

the GreenLight is 3.215 wide

1/24 it would be 6.430  feet wide @ 1/25 it would be 6.679 ft wide

over all length from the rear of the cabin to the ball hitch is 8.130 inchs

the cabin front to rear measures at 6.5 inchs

1/24 makes it 15.6 ft long in 1:1

1/25 makes it 16.25 ft.long in 1:1
