kpnuts Posted February 22, 2022 Posted February 22, 2022 Hi all well its done. I'll post better pics in daylight. Now this is finished( and after I've done the cobra) I've promised myself I'm going to finish some of my stalled builds. Probably not of interest to you car guys but this is one. And some of these.
bbowser Posted February 22, 2022 Posted February 22, 2022 Very nice! Some of those stalled projects look pretty cool as well.
happy grumpy Posted February 22, 2022 Posted February 22, 2022 Fine build of a classic. Great detailing. a real nice job.
cobraman Posted February 23, 2022 Posted February 23, 2022 I am interested in the ship as well as the others.
Ace-Garageguy Posted February 26, 2022 Posted February 26, 2022 The Alfa's a real beauty. Shoot her in bright sunlight, with shadows, and no intrusive background elements, she'd be hard to tell from the real thing.
Kolu Posted February 26, 2022 Posted February 26, 2022 Looks really good, i like the subtle patina, and the shade of red. I would be proud of that.
papajohn97 Posted February 26, 2022 Posted February 26, 2022 This big build came out really nice, particularly the outdoor pics. A lot of eye candy to feast on! So concerning those weird Italian “wired fasteners” securing the body panels, did they come with the kit or are they after-market parts or did you scratch-build those? Really adds to the detail. I would love to attempt this kit or the fender-less Nuvolari version or the Fiat with the monster engine but they are all so large, it’s a big one to try to hide from the wife!
1959scudetto Posted February 26, 2022 Posted February 26, 2022 Very well built model of one of Alfa's great pre-war classics - little patina looks very realistic.
Silver Foxx Posted February 26, 2022 Posted February 26, 2022 This is a really nice build , well done .
kpnuts Posted February 26, 2022 Author Posted February 26, 2022 Hi thanks. The wire lock bolts don't come with the kit as a lot of the engine and bulkhead details don't, that said it is a great kit
