BIGTRUCK
This original 61 comes from the same box of 1960s never completed customs I received from a friend. The 1960 I completed was short and smooth, this 61 is long and has many contours. It was pretty rough in places as the original builder used wood putty and possibly body filler of the day , as this stuff is rock hard to sand. You can see in comparison how much longer it is than stock.I love these old custom front and rear parts. Roof ,tires and hubcaps are parts box. bisc63
Pretty cool! I love that you're saving these old customs, and improving them in the process. I came across a glue bomb custom at a flea market a few years back, and it felt and looked like the builder had used Plastic Wood for a filler. He had started to sand it down, and then gave up. I passed it by, that stuff is a nightmare to sand!
Mr. Metallic
I dig what you've got going on here. I've seen that front end many times before on this vintage Corvette build, but nobody ever shows the back end. I like it a lot. Now I'm going to have to try to find one myself. Bainford
A cool old project. I like the back end treatment.

rightrudder
Neat! That extended tail will give you a few more mph down the Mulsanne Straight. So worth saving from the glue bomb (putty bomb?) pile. That tail is wonderful...I get a bit of a GT-40 Mk II feel from it.
