4mula1fan Posted April 5, 2022 Posted April 5, 2022 I'm building this original kit for a friend that has an aviation background. Putting the finishing touches on it. He plans to display it with some other collectables in his man cave. It is an out of the norm build for me, and was kind of refreshing. Touching all those boltheads with Molotow was challenging. Hope he enjoys it! 1
4mula1fan Posted April 6, 2022 Author Posted April 6, 2022 8 hours and no comment. Seems to be a trend.
peteski Posted April 6, 2022 Posted April 6, 2022 (edited) Is immediate gratification *THAT* important? Looks very nice. Is that a Williams Bros. kit? I gave you a trophy too. Better? Edited April 6, 2022 by peteski
4mula1fan Posted April 6, 2022 Author Posted April 6, 2022 It's a 1983 Monogram kit. "Gratification"? ?
peteski Posted April 6, 2022 Posted April 6, 2022 Gratification, praise or kudos for a job well done - whatever you want to call it. I'm sure you didn't post it here for someone to say that it looks terrible. Your comment about no comments just sounded odd to me. So it is a Revell kit? To be honest I never knew Revell made a kit of a radial engine. What scale it is? Looks fairly large.
GLMFAA1 Posted April 6, 2022 Posted April 6, 2022 What you didn't safety wire all the nuts? nice job, just re re re released by Atlantis. greg
Bugatti Fan Posted April 6, 2022 Posted April 6, 2022 That aero engine looks good AJ. Sometimes it is nice to do something a bit different from your normal line of modelling.
