Leif your mock up looks good. Looks like you’re about ready for some paint on the trailer now.

Thank You. Now after I glue on that top piece, to the trailer, it’ll be ready for paint.

I just removed the chrome plating from a couple 5th wheels in nothing but Purple Power. The plating was gone entirely in about 5 minutes.

Awesome. The next time I strip the chrome from one of those trailers, I’ll be sure to put it in a purple power bath. Thank You.

You're welcome. Your terminator truck looks awesome so far by the way.

Thank You. I already have plans for one or two more trucks.

I'm working on 3 right now myself. 1 cab conversion of a IH 4070 cab going on a Peterbilt Pacemaker frame. I need some missing parts before I finish that one. My other 2 are in the WIP.  I just posted one.

Leif looks like you ran out of paint I know that feeling and don’t like it but it happens. The color looks great on the tanker.

LOL, Thank You. I don’t have anything big enough to paint the trailer, so I had to hold it in one hand. Soon I’ll be able to finish painting it.

Instead of keeping this as an ashtray, I’m turning it into my version of a Terminator T800 eye. So the truck itself could be controlled by Skynet or any T800 Terminator, without anything, or anyone, behind the wheel of the truck.

Here’s the trailer to my build. I just need to add a few more parts, then it’ll be completed. I’m loving how well this is going together and turning out.

I got these parts painted, for the trailer, and when the paint is dry, I’ll glue them to the trailer. But I’ll wait on posting those pictures, for the truck to be done.

I have the trailer finished. I’ll post it’s pictures when I get the truck finished. But here’s one that I’ll share now, of the trailer.

I’ll be posting a couple more pictures of the truck itself, but when I’m completed with this build, I’ll post the final pictures in the Under Glass section under the same name. I have a Project Terminator II build in mind. So when I have everything needed for that build, I’ll be posting it here.

It looks way nicer than the one in the movie.

Keep it up!

Thank You. Will Do. I’m planing on doing a two tone paint job with it as well.

That trailer looks great!

Everything else is coming along nicely too.

David G.

Thank You. This entire project has been a lot of fun to build.

I got these in the mail yesterday. So, now all I have to do is figure out how to wire them up, with a battery and a small on/off switch, and figure out how well I’ll be able to get them to fit, then I’ll be good to go with this build

Looks great mate. The AMT tank trailer has a terrible reputation for warpage of both the frame and the tank. How have you found it?

I've got one in my stash, I should get round to it in about ten years.

Thank You. I didn’t see any of the parts being warped much. Maybe just the piece that goes on the very top was slightly. I’m wanting to get another tanker trailer and shorten it to half the length and put it on the back of another International Transtar 4070.
