Haven't seen too many of his movies but the one that stands out for me is Timerider from 1982. He's riding an off-road motorcycle and gets caught in some time warp that takes him back in time. Some bad guys and action and a weird situation involving a woman. Don't even know if you can find it out there.

Love that flick, saw it in the theater and have it on VHS. But last year I found the Blu-ray, good to see it again in widescreen.

Of course who can forget "Tremors" with Ward and Kevin Bacon. Although Ward was in "Tremors II" and he was good, Bacon was sorely missed.

I remember that same movie. It was during a time when my entire life was off road motorcycling. I was really excited about this film. At the time I thought it was the greatest motorcycling movie yet. The premise was really good but watch it today  you wouldn't expect it to win any academy awards. Wouldn't be a bad film to remake at this point. RIP Fred.

Oh yeah! That was a really good movie. This one was the opposite. The premise was lousy but the film was pretty good. Can't say the same about the subsequent follow up movies.
