Looks chase ready. I have this in the box waiting for me to finish some i have started.

Thanks Anthony.

When you start building yours, double check to make sure that parts 65 & 66 are in the box as they were missing in mine.

Revell was quick in replacing them but it did slow me down just a little.

Thanks i will have to check.  Did you clear coat the rims to dull them a bit?

Yes I did. I usually spray Tamiya Flat Clear followed by Tamiya Clear after the flat dries. That combination seems to give the factory chrome a good sheen.

Thanks again to all of you who followed along, it's great just knowing that you're out there.

Excellent work on this! I had built mine using the same plan of "quick and (mostly) box stock," got it done, but now Fireball Modelworks has a corrected set of wheels so it looks like I'm not quite finished after all.

Really nicely done.

Thank you Jim, it's kind of you to say so.

Thank you Bill, I appreciate that.

So, what's different about the wheels in the kit? The only difference I see might be that the wheels on the TV car look like they're cast and the kit wheels are thinner like stamped wheels.

In either case, I'm content with the ones offered in the kit.

That's it, and it's really only noticeable on the rears - so a pretty small change in the grand scheme of things. I likely wouldn't even bother updating them except I like having an excuse for extra wheels in the stash.

Very nicely done! I remember the original from the TV series and it is a dead ringer!

Thank you John, I appreciate that.

I've spent some time on your website admiring your work Bill. Your attention to detail and building skills are impressive to say the least, so I'm not surprised that you would catch such a small detail.

And yeah, extra wheels are always nice to have. ;)
