1934 Ford Flatbed

Hi… This is a based on the amt kit. I started with a parts box incomplete kit… Used the front half of the 34’s frame and the rear of a 1937 ford pickup. Bed is scratchbuilt… used many different sets of wheels but settled on the steelies…  hope you like it

Painted the cab and fenders  duplicolor blue and started detailing the rest of the parts… had some fitment issues but fixed them rather easily…the hood and spare are held in place with magnets.

Nice work, specially that imaginative frame graft, and the expanded metal for the stack heat-shield. I like it.

Great looking fabrication work. I noticed the but joint on the frames and hope you have them reinforced internally. The dump bed looks very realistic, and I like the exhaust stacks.

Thanks…they’re just like that, but when they’re glued to the fenders it gives them some strength… Well, I hope… ?
