Tim W. SoCal Posted July 7 Posted July 7 (edited) Bird, bird, what's the word, have you seen or heard my Thunderbird? Edited July 7 by Tim W. SoCal
Ace-Garageguy Posted July 7 Posted July 7 Thunderbird was the go-to vino for impromptu urban gatherings. 1
Tim W. SoCal Posted July 7 Posted July 7 (edited) Gatherings at the front door of my shop in the morning when I arrived to open for the day were what were then known as "bums", begging quarters for "a cup of coffee" Edited July 7 by Tim W. SoCal 1
Tim W. SoCal Posted July 7 Posted July 7 "Coffee" I'd reply, "I'm about to make a BIG pot", and this is when they'd cop to wanting to collect 2 dollars so they could go down to the liquor store and get a bottle of "TUNDAHBOID". 2
89AKurt Posted July 7 Posted July 7 THUNDAHBOID the new EV with 10,000 BHP goes 444 MPH after hovering, within two seconds. 2
Ace-Garageguy Posted July 7 Posted July 7 (edited) Seconds later it bursts into flames and burns for a week releasing delicious toxins and heavy metals into the ecosphere...all while saving the planet. Edited July 7 by Ace-Garageguy 2 2
slusher Posted July 7 Posted July 7 Planet earth has been going through global warming for many years but this is opinion.
Ace-Garageguy Posted July 7 Posted July 7 Opinion on many things is largely shaped by mainstream and social media that often choose to ignore or misrepresent actual facts, or are too ignorant and dogma-driven to interpret them correctly. 3
slusher Posted July 7 Posted July 7 Correctly given opinion is not right or wrong should be respected as I always respect you..
slusher Posted July 7 Posted July 7 Electricity can be generated from solar and water thats not harmful to the planet.."
Tim W. SoCal Posted July 7 Posted July 7 Planet earth has aeons long weather cycles proven by the historical fact that it went from sweltering heat to the ice age and then to a climate that humans can survive and thrive in. 2
Ace-Garageguy Posted July 7 Posted July 7 In some prehistoric time periods, both atmospheric CO2 levels and heat were much higher than they are today, had nothing to do with humans burning fossil fuels (because humans didn't exist yet), and somehow the planet managed to survive. 2
slusher Posted July 7 Posted July 7 (edited) Survive all over the world is being done by people on both polar icecaps for science." Edited July 7 by slusher Typo 1
LennyB Posted July 7 Posted July 7 Science is a myth that makes self righteous people feel important because they know something about nothing that no one else understands because it is a total pile of soft brown stuff that sticks to the bottom of your shoe.
Ace-Garageguy Posted July 7 Posted July 7 (edited) Shoe "science" is never really "settled" no matter how many media personalities insist otherwise, a case in point being the vast improvements in our understanding of aerodynamics since the end of WW II, and that branch of science is still evolving. slusher Posted July 8 Posted July 8 Evolving in warning system for flash floods could have saved more children in Texas..
Ace-Garageguy Posted July 8 Posted July 8 (edited) Texas floodwaters rose over 30 feet in one hour, and the National Weather Service (which was fully staffed, contrary to many media reports) was sending out evacuation messages the whole time...but unfortunately, it happened in the middle of the night when most people were asleep.
