Tim W. SoCal Posted July 8 Posted July 8 Proportions of some components in model kits, such as engines and body contours, are far from accurate. 1
Ace-Garageguy Posted July 9 Posted July 9 (edited) "Accurate" has unfortunately become a relative term like "beauty", often said to be in the eye of the beholder. Edited July 9 by Ace-Garageguy 1
Tim W. SoCal Posted July 9 Posted July 9 Beholder of grotesque appearing body mutations should heed the words of immortal Yoda the Jedi Master, "Once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny, consume you, it will." 1

Ace-Garageguy Posted Thursday at 03:09 AM Posted Thursday at 03:09 AM "Do wah diddy diddy dum diddy do" had nothing to do with a figure in the recent news. 1

Ace-Garageguy Posted Friday at 12:03 AM Posted Friday at 12:03 AM (edited) Parts for the SBC proliferated rapidly because it became so popular so quickly, and the great parts situation made it even more popular...and I still don't really get why GM didn't just put the LS heads on the venerable smallblock bottom end, as though the LS is good, it's just not (IMHO) THAT much better. (EDIT: There is, by the way, an aftermarket smallblock block that WILL accept LS heads; both engines have the same bore spacing, but the water passages and bolt holes are different.)
