Phildaupho Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 The cars have started to arrive for Northwest Deuce Days in Victoria BC Canada. Every three years Deuce Days is the largest gathering of 32 Fords anywhere plus lots of 1952 and earlier cars. I went downtown for the 9:50 arrival of the Coho ferry from Port Angles Washington. The tide was low so unloading was slow and careful. I will be going back for the 2:15 arrival which is reported to be fully reserved by hot rods. I will be adding to my fotki album all weekend. Sunday is the Deuce Days in Scale Model Car Show which I will post separately. 2022 DEUCE DAYS album | Phildaupho | Fotki.com, photo and video sharing made easy. This was the first car off
Steve H Posted July 15, 2022 Posted July 15, 2022 Thanks for sharing those Phil!! Such an amazing weekend for our city, and for anyone that likes cars. I’ll be down there in my Beaumont later today to take in the sights and sounds. See you on Saturday evening. Cheers, Steve
Misha Posted July 15, 2022 Posted July 15, 2022 Great weather, great shots! It all promises to be a knock out weekend. Thanks Phil for the photos, great variety which makes the Deuce such an iconic Hot Rod. Cheers Misha
espo Posted July 15, 2022 Posted July 15, 2022 Always enjoy your beautiful photography along with the subjects.
Steve H Posted July 18, 2022 Posted July 18, 2022 Another fantastic show in our beautiful city. Not our best weather, but thankfully the rain held off. I arrived early to get some shots before the masses descended on the show. Estimates are that approximately 100,000 people attend the the show. 1
espo Posted July 19, 2022 Posted July 19, 2022 Beautiful looking builds. The last photo of the chopped and channeled sedan with two engines. Looking at the engines they look to me to be GMC truck V-6 engines with maybe 471 blowers and injection.

Never saw one in person but do remember GMC advertising it for heavy duty applications. When I looked at the picture it just looked like two separate engines. Thanks for the info.
