thebavarian Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 Hi, this is a car I built in 2008. The quality of my paintings changes from car to car a little bit. I think, that`s a good one (for me). I used a photoetched set from modelcargarage (it`s difficult to buy in Germany). The color is from Dupli Color sprayed direct from the can and a 2 componet clearcoat (I don`t remember the manufacturer). The metal parts (by example the exhaust system) are painted with Alclad II black gloss primer and their metalizer. The rest is Tamiya. Inside I used a green flocking at the floor. I like the ignition key with the little mustang as a keychain. I hope the transmission of the images works. 2
vamach1 Posted July 20, 2022 Posted July 20, 2022 Looks great. I am working on the convertible version in Gulfstream Aqua. I forgot about the MCG photoetch - I will have to find the set I have somewhere.
thebavarian Posted July 20, 2022 Author Posted July 20, 2022 @vamach1 Thank you. The convertible at the picture has nearly the color of my model. It is a nice one for this car. You are a member of the South Florida Modelers? End of october i‘m in Fort Lauderdale to visit my daughter.

Yes I go to the Model Car Creations meetings on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday at 7pm in Hollywood in the Flippers cinema and video game center.
Bills72sj Posted July 23, 2022 Posted July 23, 2022 Nice Shelby. I like the color choice. The keychain is a nice touch.
