Suburban_Hooligan Posted August 21, 2022 Posted August 21, 2022 (edited) a little history. i was originally going to build this into a slot car (a pro mod if i remember right) back in like 1995. i painted the body and never got a chassis so it just sat. after looking at it for almost 30 years i went digging through my parts boxes and found most of the parts and slapped it together with the motto's "good enough", "don't care", "oh well" and "whatever". i fit it in between other projects in an attempt to just get it out of the garage. overall it still came out better than i was expecting. the only alteration i made was the wheels and tires. they're centerlines from a Revell 70 Chevelle kit. not a clue where the tires originated from. fivesuns Posted August 21, 2022 Posted August 21, 2022 Looks pretty good. I have built a couple with that frame of mind. Surprisingly they sometimes turn out pretty doggone good.
bisc63 Posted August 21, 2022 Posted August 21, 2022 Pretty clean Camaro, and looks very nice in that blue.
DanL Posted August 21, 2022 Posted August 21, 2022 wheels and tires look great on the Camaro... well done
Koellefornia Kid Posted August 22, 2022 Posted August 22, 2022 Nice! Centerliners are a good choice for Camaros of this era and I really like that blue!
espo Posted August 22, 2022 Posted August 22, 2022 Great looking Camaro and that color looks nice on this. Like you I have used this kit as a doner on several builds and like the Chambered Exhaust system.
Just Jim Posted August 25, 2022 Posted August 25, 2022 Looks really nice for something that was "slapped it together" ?
