Brian Austin Posted September 9, 2022 Author Posted September 9, 2022 (edited) Not the prettiest, perhaps, but pretty wild. Feel free to join in the fun. http://www.sixmania.fr/en/van-dodge-eight-is-enough-8-roues-1975/ http://www.sixmania.fr/en/les-vans/ Edited September 9, 2022 by Brian Austin
iamsuperdan Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 On a related note... The new Nickelback album cover. Inspired perhaps by, The Van?
Mike 1017 Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 After the demise of the Muscle Car. Mr. Norm's Grand Spaulding Dodge in Chicago built some of coolest in the country. This is his personal van. Another one. Not too many survived. Chicago's use of road salt turned these into rust buckets along with 10's of thousands of other vehicles.
espo Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 Interested in unusual Dodge Vans? I was watching Mecum Auction on TV yesterday and they did a little feature on a Dodge van that will be in the auction. The exterior is a very clean sort of low-key solid color with very little accent paint work. The interior on the other hand is something straight out of the '70's SoCal wild fur baby type. Look online at the Mecum site and go thru the pictures of the units they are auctioning today as that was when they indicated that the van would be on the auction block.
Brian Austin Posted September 10, 2022 Author Posted September 10, 2022 I follow a custom van group on FB and I wasn't aware there were so many chopped vans, or those with extra axles. Also, using a car grille as seen in the video seems to be not uncommon as well.
Mike C. Posted September 10, 2022 Posted September 10, 2022 This one from Mecum this weekend was pretty cool looking. Plain on the outside but wild on the inside. Love that colorful shag carpeting. 1976 Dodge Custom Van | F65 | Dallas 2022 (mecum.com) 1

Not really sure they could pay me to take it. I would be afraid of laying back, making doobie ashes while listening to some Led Zep, and starting a raging inferno if I dropped aforementioned doobie.
