Bumper I.D.

I bought this bumper at a swap meet this week because I thought it would make a cool bumper for a custom project. I am not certain what make or model it is from. Anybody know? I'm thinking a Buick or Pontiac?

It looks as if a grill or some sort of trim has been cut away from the upper edge. What comes to my mind is a rear bumper from something from Chrysler.

Looks like a 1959 Continental front bumper.

I think you're right! No wonder I couldn't figure it out. Well, it will be a rear bumper when I use it. Maybe on a Buick invicta custom.

Such wild parts on OE cars of the time. No wonder customizers could use parts that couldn't be identified later.
