ramblerman Posted October 29, 2022 Posted October 29, 2022 (edited) I wanted to do something a bit different with the AMT ’39/‘40 Tudor Sedan. I filled the side windows using card stock and filled the trunk seam below the rear window. I lined up the new seam for the rear hatch even with the ends of the side drip rails. I then cut the hatch open following the original trunk separation lines and added a homemade hinge. Krylon and Testors paints with decals left over from the Coca-Cola Willy’s gasser pickup finish it off. Edited October 29, 2022 by ramblerman 4
happy grumpy Posted October 29, 2022 Posted October 29, 2022 An interesting idea. Turned out pretty good. The rear hatch fits naturally with the model. Nice job Jim.
crazyjim Posted October 29, 2022 Posted October 29, 2022 Great idea on the hatch and overall very nice build.
Zippi Posted October 29, 2022 Posted October 29, 2022 (edited) Man what a good looking 40 Ford Tudor Delivery. Nicely done. Edited October 29, 2022 by Zippi
ramblerman Posted October 30, 2022 Author Posted October 30, 2022 Thanks, for the positive feedback. Keep on modelling.
espo Posted October 30, 2022 Posted October 30, 2022 Great idea making it into a sedan delivery. Almost wonder why Ford didn't do something like this at the time. The paint job looks great, and the engine is nicrly detailed.
slusher Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 (edited) Very clean and great looking build! Edited October 31, 2022 by slusher
