junkyardjeff Posted December 10, 2022 Posted December 10, 2022 Picked up a 60s built Monogram 36 Ford coupe that it looks like has AMT axles and these were on it.
Richard Bartrop Posted December 11, 2022 Posted December 11, 2022 The one on the right is definitely Pontiac, so maybe from their '66 Bonneville kit?
junkyardjeff Posted December 11, 2022 Author Posted December 11, 2022 The other two look to be scale 13 or 14 inch and I thought it kind of looked like a 8 lug rim.
Can-Con Posted December 11, 2022 Posted December 11, 2022 (edited) The lettering on the inside of the depresses circle on the 8-lug wheel makes it a '61/'62. The '63/'64 had these caps, And the '65/'68had these, Edited December 11, 2022 by Can-Con

Are you sure you have a Monogram kit? Monogram's never had holes for axles - just plastic pins. Probably have an AMT. And there are probably differences between the two.
junkyardjeff Posted December 11, 2022 Author Posted December 11, 2022 Yes it's a Monogram as it has the same numbers cast in the parts as my unbuilt 36 kit, after further investigation I seen someone have carved a slot in the engine for the axle. The original builder must have used AMT parts for a better selection of wheels,I am going to keep those axles and use rims and tires I have in stock.
junkyardjeff Posted December 13, 2022 Author Posted December 13, 2022 If anyone can use those 8 lug rims let me know as I doubt I will need them but you know what happens when you get rid of something then you need them.
