Slotto
This is the Monogram release from 1973. I acquired it in the early 90s and built it as a Street Rod with sea foam green paint, a flathead painted body color and Cragars with wide white walls. This is what I picture would happen if a 90s Street Rod were to be neglected and left in the woods to rot and being rescued and brought up to today's looks. Along the way she lost quite a few detail parts so I had to scour the junkyard and scab parts from another kit -primarily the Revell '37 Ford Convertible. Over the course of the build I incorporated various techniques that I picked up over my years of building. Although, this build has some issues this was a fun build and I'm rather pleased how it turned out. How the sausage was made Thanks for looking! espo
Like the theme of your build. The cab finishes look very much like some of the older custom paints that didn't weather well if left outside.
Dennis Lacy
I like it! Particularly I like the way the weathered hood, cab and bed look with the flat black fenders, like they are primed replacements for what might have been damaged or missing pieces. I also like the contrast of the modern dressed (billet valve cover and air filter) small block and modern large diameter wheels.

XYHARRY
Cool truck Steve. I enjoyed your wip on this and the way you did the exhaust. The 37 parts look good on this. Wheels, stance and patina are spot on. Cheers, David. 😎👍
