Lucius Molchany Posted January 14, 2023 Author Posted January 14, 2023 Thanks,I painted it with a fine liner brush.
Joe Nunes Posted January 14, 2023 Posted January 14, 2023 Nice looking model. Years ago I built and flew an RC model aircraft of this plane...dang that model aircraft was fast! After seeing this model of yours I would like to find a kit and built it for old memories sake. ? Joe
Lucius Molchany Posted January 14, 2023 Author Posted January 14, 2023 Available on eBay but might not be cheap as the original owner died and I am not sure if another company is reissuing the kits! 1
LDO Posted January 15, 2023 Posted January 15, 2023 The company was bought by a guy in Round Rock, Texas. He reissued some kits. I bought several racers and engines. That has been several years ago. I don’t know if any more were reissued.

I wanted to order some of their rotary radial engine kits, but who knows if they will ever open up again. I agree with others - that is a nicely done model Phillip. Edited January 25, 2023 by peteski Meant to say "radial"
Lucius Molchany Posted January 25, 2023 Author Posted January 25, 2023 Thank you! sorry to hear that the company is in trouble.
LDO Posted January 25, 2023 Posted January 25, 2023 This magazine has an article by Bob Steinbrunn on detailing a Williams Brothers 1/8 scale engine. It’s a radial, not a rotary, but a cool article nonetheless. I believe he had an article on a rotary, also. He even built a display stand that looks like one that would hold a real engine in a museum. https://finescale.com/issues/1991/january-1991
Lucius Molchany Posted January 27, 2023 Author Posted January 27, 2023 Thanks! pretty easy to build !
LDO Posted January 29, 2023 Posted January 29, 2023 I found my copy of the January 1991 FSM. It was a pretty good article. I like that he included building a display stand. Here are a few pics.
