junkyardjeff
I bought it off Ebay for parts but it was too good to cut up,it had a AMT flatbed on it so I found a 80s version bed in stock. I painted the bed 3 times and the paint messed up so it's staying in primer and made up some side racks and it's done for now.
Zippi
The changes look good. Nice looking little pickup.
junkyardjeff
It was painted in the 60s and could not match the paint and did not want to tear it apart to repaint.

NOBLNG
It looks good just like that. I’m sure a lot of those old trucks got the bed swapped for one in better shape.😎 Edited January 22, 2023 by NOBLNG
junkyardjeff
I made the racks from two sets from the 80s versions and parts from one rack from a AMT 34 Ford.

junkyardjeff
The bed is not glued on so I can paint it eventually,I tried the first two times with Testors dark blue and must have been old paint as it came out lumpy and the third time I used a Rust-Oleum dark blue that was a tad bit lighter but the paint decided to check on the second coat.
