Took a short Break from the heat outside(don’t get a lot of nice weather here on the far east coast) and opened the box and mocked up the car since my last visit with it. I was not happy with the interior at all, and the channel with the tub was not sitting the way I envisioned it.
So I removed that tub and have started fresh.

For some reason, I thought you were in Alberta...

Interior tub take 2. This should work a lot better. And of course had to mock it all up again.

I was, moved back home to Newfoundland.

My classic car cruising buddy is from Rock Harbour, Newfoundland (near Marystown)....

If you're near to Swift Current, NFLD, hopefully you get to visit Vernon Smith's Car Museum. Dennis Gage of My Classic Car filmed an episode or two from Vernon's.

Thank you for the kind words Carl, I still have yet to finish wiring the engine haha.

Well progress has been slowed over the last couple of days, had a small mishap on my dirtbike while trail riding which has resulted in a number of abrasions and a couple of cracked ribs( I’m young I’ll heal, that’s what I keep telling myself) but before that happened I managed to get some body work started, filling in the taillight holes and cleaning up around the cowl plus a small nick that I managed to make while scribing the trunk sigh.
Work continues let the sanding begin.

Glad you're not too badly hurt. Cracked ribs sounds like no fun though.

However, glad to see this one back on the bench!

Thanks Craig, it’s a bit rough but I’m dealing with it. I managed a couple of minutes today at the bench to try an idea that popped in my head. Rear panel from a glue bomb eliminator sectioned to make a rear trim panel. I’ll clean it up but I have to narrow it as well, looks like the width of a saw cut will suffice.

Sand sand sand… and maybe a shot of primer to see how it’s coming along. It’s supposed to be stupid hot here the next couple of days. Hope to make some progress and maybe shoot some colour again.

It’s the 82 release of the revell 29

I've been wanting to build a model A pick-up but haven't found a kit yet. Thanks, Bil.

I love the '34 coupe (and the phaeton, and the tudor, and the roadster and the....well...all of them really) and this one is bad to the bone, Bil !

edit: did the bench squirrels chew the roof off that beige 5W?

Thank you for the kind words Jim, it’s been a busy weekend at the bench and  I feel like I’ve actually made a lot of progress. And yup Rocky was knawing on some plastic, it was a test of concept.
