ewetwo Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 My latest Kit. Lindberg Aerovette. It was an experimental car by Gm Mid-engine for the Corvette around the early 1980’s. The Original 1/18 scale kit had a 4 cylinder engine. When they did the 1/24 scale kit and they put a V8 in. Testors Touquoise color shift paint. I’m still looking for parts to the 1/18 scale Aerovette. I thought this paint would really show it off. 1
cobraman Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 Looks good David. I don't recall seeing one built up before.
ismaelg Posted February 25, 2023 Posted February 25, 2023 Hello, That's a wild color. Is this the Revell 1/25 kit? I'm not aware of Lindberg doing other than the 1/18. Thanks, Ismael
ewetwo Posted February 26, 2023 Author Posted February 26, 2023 (edited) Yes it is Ismael. Thank you Jeremy and Carl. ? Edited February 27, 2023 by ewetwo
Koellefornia Kid Posted February 26, 2023 Posted February 26, 2023 Cool! Interesting to see how a nice colour choice can totally change the look of a car!

I thought to paint it the silver on the box wasn’t going to work. Planning the next one with color shift paint.
Classicgas Posted February 26, 2023 Posted February 26, 2023 (edited) Sweet. Iirc when GM did the car it was a test bed for the rotary engine. Edited February 26, 2023 by Classicgas
