Anybody that has an LED "halo" magnifier light raise your hand! (I love mine ?) they seem to be ubiquitous.

 Question to all: do you pin your spoilers on cars like this for a strong attachment and to avoid a glue mishap? I'm just curious ?.

Thanks, All! I appreciate your comments! Jim, I did think about pinning the spoiler. I marked the trunk lid with small dots using spoiler turned upside down to line up with the holes in the spoiler for the supports. I glued the supports onto the spoiler and then put it on the trunk lid. It stood perfectly on the dots, so I simply put a dab of super glue on the dots and then sat the spoiler supports on it and let it dry.  I did pin the mirrors. They were just an accident waiting to happen. The bottom of the mirror support was rounded to fit the body crease right there on the top of the door. I didn't like that and knew that the mirror would fall right off, so I flattened the rounded bottom of the mirror support, drilled a hole and stuck a pin in it. I drilled a hole in the crease on top of both doors. Then it was a piece of cake mounting the mirror with a dab of super glue. I was even able to bend the pin to make the mirror stand upright once in place. Thanks for looking!

Yeah, the mirrors ?.  On spoilers I insert long pins into the uprights and glue underneath the trunk lid. A little dab'll do ya! ☺️. Congrats on another great one!

I bought one not too long ago. Mostly to improve the pictures of my builds. Fortunately my bench already has plenty of light and my eyesight rarely needs any help.

I have yet to pin anything. I have yet to lose a spoiler. I generally leave mirrors off because if they were never there, they cannot leave glue spots when they come up missing.

To JR: Sorry to distract from your beautiful Mustang but I feel compelled. 

BILL... I think I should clarify that pinning a spoiler that is painted a different color from that of the body and is therefore attached to the finished body in final assembly risks a CA accident,  especially when performed by many of us here that have achieved great-grand-parent status. The main purpose is not about keeping the spoiler on as it is getting it on.  Getting it in place without risking a mis-placement accident, smearing CA on a freshly finished, polished, perfect trunk lid. I took the opportunity to bring this up here as a hint to the reader that pinning is something to be considered as a solution for us fumble-fingered types (you know who you are, Grandpa ?). Because many of these muscle cars sport one of these spoilers on the trunk or under the front bumper, I figured it was worth bringing it up while some of us may have been thinking about it.
