Bean a while since I posted last. Got a lot of things going on in life. But here is the 77 Malibu Classic that I'm building for a friend. A replica of his 1:1. A surprise from his wife. Body work and paint pretty much done gotta do pinstripes. Interior is done. Got foiling to do but it's gettin there and lookin pretty ok (I think.) Thanks for looking, comments are always welcome.

We had a station wagon like this when I was growing up. It was like a metallic red color. Same stacked headlights. Might have been a '77 or '78.

I used the cannon ball run malibu body for the base. Then used parts from the monte carlo and Lenny Pond kit.

Also used a 70 Cutlas chassis.
