cobraman Posted June 19, 2023 Author Posted June 19, 2023 Next step will be wiring . I’m going to have to take my time with this step .
cobraman Posted June 20, 2023 Author Posted June 20, 2023 Thanks Bruce. If it turns out half as good as yours I should be happy. I had some problems with the suspension. The shocks did not seem to want to stay assembled.
cobraman Posted June 20, 2023 Author Posted June 20, 2023 Well , one end of wiring is done . They made it as easy as it could possibly be . All numbered . Plug and play style . 2
cobraman Posted June 20, 2023 Author Posted June 20, 2023 Working on the truck and routing some wires .
cobraman Posted June 20, 2023 Author Posted June 20, 2023 Ya , a bit pricy but it will be the centerpiece of my Cobra collection . I mounted the speaker in the firewall . 2

Brudda Posted June 21, 2023 Posted June 21, 2023 On the subject of model burnout, I’m there right now. Just assembling 1/8 kits but nothing else. I do not know what happened, but the fire went out. Trying to get the fire back . Riding my e bike and doing other things right now. I hope your fire comes back as you are a great builder. But I understand, for now other interests look better.
cobraman Posted June 21, 2023 Author Posted June 21, 2023 Thanks, I have quit before but this time is different. I get too angry when there is even a small problem with a build. The normal kind of stuff we all deal with. I just don't enjoy it anymore. If the joy is gone it's just time to hang it up. Plus I am out of room. I have begun to start selling off some stuff to reduce what my wife and daughter might have to deal with when I go to the workbench in the sky !
cobraman Posted June 21, 2023 Author Posted June 21, 2023 Steering wheel mounted . Some bits added to the trunk lid . 1
cobraman Posted June 23, 2023 Author Posted June 23, 2023 Windshield frame done . Side wing windows and visors are moveable. 1
KWT Posted June 24, 2023 Posted June 24, 2023 Ray I just went scrolling through here... this thing is pretty sweet.
cobraman Posted June 25, 2023 Author Posted June 25, 2023 Thank you Bruce. I am really impressed by how this kit is packaged and how the assembly is broken into manageable sections.
cobraman Posted June 26, 2023 Author Posted June 26, 2023 Got some hoses fed to the radiator and the expansion tank installed .
