Thanks for al the coments i apriciate it!

I had an idea of making the front bumper a bit Viper inspired.. so i made a photo parametric 3d model of my model so i could try it on in the computer.

I did a concept.. whats your thoughts. I am not 100% with it yet.. but hey no car was designed over night.

Might I suggest the YouTube channel Superfastmatt, he's currently building the opposite.  An off road viper.

Great project,  glad I found it.

So after some at first random cutting, a bunch of grinding and plenty more cuts I have a revised bumper that’s taking shape. With inspiration from the Nissan GTR, with the slots, dodge viper with the holes and the later SRT 8 with how the fender and bumper connects. Its far from done and I do need to cut apart the left hand side again since my first random cut was not even and I noticed when I was done.

Very interesting build, looks good. You never see grand cherokee's done this way in 1:1. That chassis fits really well, and the engine placement looks right. Was that a "happy accident " or planned? The only thought I have is maybe open the very front of the hood in front the bulges.

Thanks John! No that is true. Most lift them or let them be stockish.

Chassi is the original GC Chassis but with Skyline rear end and front diff, that front might change since its actualy on the wrong side of the pan. Will see if i can sort that out, would give me more space for the Transfercase. Yes Engine looks good in there, might try to angle it upward a bit so it sits higher and give me more space bellow it.  That the engine fits was a trial and error, and i had to open the floor pan a bit to acomodate the 6speed.

Yes some vents or intakes will be needed i belive, will se what i come up with:)

Have been sanding like a mad man and made some progress. Not hundred about the rear bumper but the rest is coming along.

Looking good, any plans for a rear defuser, or just the exhaust out the back?

Ah yes…. Sanding, sanding, and more sanding… Looks really aggressive, I like it. I agree with John’s idea above 👆, if no diffuser, then perhaps some rectangular exhaust dumps tucked under the rear bumper? Just my 2 cents.

As the previous owner of two ZJs, I definitely approve of this. Looks AMAZING so far, can’t wait to see this one completed!

I am thinking of making it a bit like the viper, a vent slot and the exhaust either in the sides, square as mentioned by Steve may be killer, or center as Viper has them..

I think a defusor is not some thing they would have been done on a concept car in the ‘90’s so I will pass on such a piece but the thought have slipped my mind as well.

Fantastic idea keeping true to the time period of the concept. "Sport models" weren't full blown "supercar" effects kits in the 90's. I like where going with it. The idea from the viper is probably what would have been done if this was actually built. I'm really enjoying watching this come to life. Looking forward to what's next.👍👍
