tractoraholic Posted April 23, 2023 Posted April 23, 2023 Good Evening Everyone, I am looking for a source for resin or 3d printed 1/24 scale Mack 6 spoke wheels that will work with the Italeri Mack Superliner. I have checked ST supply and Sour krauts and they offer them in 1/25. Any suggestions Suppliers? Keystone was my go-to but unfortunately he is out of business. Thanks.
vincen47 Posted April 24, 2023 Posted April 24, 2023 (edited) Yes, unfortunate Keystone isn’t in business anymore. But, Auslowe lists their Mack 6 spoke sets as 1/24. You can order direct or often catch them on the ‘bay. Also, Kit Form Services has them in 1/24. Edited April 24, 2023 by vincen47

I've ordered a few times from overseas from Czech Truck Model, and they were always great, about 3 weeks from placing order to parts delivered at my mail box.

My last order from Auslowe was several years ago. It took 3 weeks to process and then I got a notice that my order was shipped. Then it too 3 weeks to arrive after shipping. The total time was 6 weeks. I wouldn’t be afraid to order again from them at all.

Thanks Brian, That's not too bad, I'm not in a hurry, it's for a future build I'm planning down the road, as I like gather parts a little at a time. 1

Like Brian, I’ve had a good experience ordering direct. I’ve placed a handful of orders in the past few years, most recently a few months ago. I’d say it has averaged about 4-5 weeks for a delivery. The conversion rate is really good right now, too. Edited April 24, 2023 by vincen47
spencer1984 Posted April 25, 2023 Posted April 25, 2023 One more vote for ordering direct from Auslowe. The last time I did so was about six weeks from order to delivery.
tractoraholic Posted April 26, 2023 Author Posted April 26, 2023 Thanks guys, I placed the order with Auslowe, and bought a few more things in addition to the wheels. One thing I've been learning is when you find neat aftermarket resin parts and if money allows, is buy them before they are gone, these past few years we have lost some great casters and small business that provided good products and accessories for us truck modelers. 1
Force Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 You woun't be disappointed, Auslowe has quality stuff and are very reliable. 1
Oldmopars Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 So, I have been working on creating wheels that fit the Italeri trucks. The are designed to fit the trucks with no adapting or mods. They fit using the kit parts and kit tires. 5 spoke, 6 spoke, 2 hole, 5 hole and Euro As demand is the driving factor is what is offered, if you are interested in these wheels, please contact Charles at Texas 3D customs and let him know you want them.
