The bronco so far. Sorry, Not the best picture. Looking for some critique on plug wires, scale ,pointers. I learned one thing. DO ONE WIRE AT A TIME ! I put all on cap then laid a mini screwdriver on valve cover to hold in place . Glue 1, 2nd moved, etc. Pretty happy though

If you're sure you want critique.... Plug wires do not come off the distributor straight up. They lay close to the cap, drooping down. They also lay close to the valve covers, not raising as yours do. Here's a photo to help. I applaud your efforts, the scale looks great.

One tip- pre wire your distributor or buy one already wired. Drill holes clear into your engine where the plugs are. That way you can feed as much wire as needed into the block, rather than risk cutting wires too short.

Once I have my wire where it looks right, pull it out slightly, apply your glue and push it back in.  Hold it until dry so it doesn’t pop back out on you

Tom and classicgas,  thanks for tips. It's my first attempt after 40 + years ! I struggled with this , grind off cap posts and drill ? My lord ,what do you use to drill that small ? I thought about laying them down on posts ,live ,try and learn !

You've already received some great pointers, but to me the elephant in the room is the appearance of your plug wires which appear to be made out of some kind of thread.  Scale aftermarket plug wires are cheap and abundant and would give your engine a more accurate look.  I highly recommend taking a look at what these guys offer  https://madmodeling.com/Category/distributors

You did good for a first try, every one of us has been there on one aspect of modeling or another. The under-hood picture shows how gravity effects the ignition wires giving them the drooping effect which frankly without consulting a good picture is difficult to visualize.

When I go to car shows, I wander around taking pics of the under-hood and other significant aspects of the cars, even if its not the same type of car the pictures help with what I'm working on.

Biggest hint here is to build up a photo library either off the 'Net or from car shows, it will pay off big dividends in your models.
