Sometimes you just look at a part or parts and think "I can make something out of that!" That's pretty much what happened here.

Resin body of unknown origin, some cool mags, a chassis and some engine parts. DSC03040.jpg.75dec78335e56dcc1dc64cbe0b025bdf.jpg

My notifications show that there are at least 8 replies to this topic. For reasons unknown to me, I can not see them.

They are not showing up when I access this thread. Sorry if I do not reply.

Anyone know why this may be?  I only see comments from Muncie and deuces wild from yesterday.

Looking at the body you are using, it looks very good, could it be from Replicas and Miniatures?

I picked that body up so long ago at NNL East. Sorry, but I have no recollection of who made it. It is very nicely cast. You would swear that it is styrene.

I didn't go too crazy wit the interior because I don't think it will be able to be seen with the body on the car.

Sorry for the blurry picture. Front shocks were scratch built from aluminum tubing. I even made rubber bushings.

Very cool altered. These cars had very limited interiors anyway, so what you have is pretty much sufficient.  I would suggest maybe adding a block-off panel dividing the interior from the trunk area.

Thanks, If I decide to make the deck lid removeable, a panel would be in order.

The headers that I originally intended to use were ok but a bit small in diameter so I made my own . I think that the "bologna" slice is a nice touch.

The scoop, blower and the valve covers are all cast metal. They were actually intended to be jewelry! I only wish that i had bought more when I had the chance.
