I’m not sure who cast this one. It will be powered by a 3208 Cat.

The headlights were a bit off. I modified them a bit to help it a little and I cut open the hood.

Pretty sure Pinecrest Miniatures from Jamestown, PA cast that a number of years ago.  I had one that I turned into a mid sized pumper.  I only used the front hood and fenders, however and blended them to a kit cab.

That looks amazing Charles! Did you have to modify the headlights, if so how?

Been so long since I did the work I don't remember. Going back and looking at your resin casting, it may be a re-pop by someone else.  My headlights don't look anything like yours and the hood on mine has a small rectangular cutout in the front of the center ridge.  The ridge is about 6 mm wide.  Mine also does not have the vertical marker lights on the front of the fenders.  The headlight lenses on mine have yellowed with time so they probably were clear resin.

Thanks for the info Charles. Looking at yours, I think that your casting was a bit more accurate than mine.

I agree with Charlie, It looks like the Pinecrest casting

It looks like it, Greg but unless Jim Eishhorn made some changes in his master, I'd say its a copy or one close to it.

Only way to find out is they used the 1/24th Monogram Ford pick up body and if the kit interior fits we'll convict.

This one did recast the Monogram 1/24th cab, complete with the groove for cutting out the sunroof. The front clip of the one that Charles built looks a lot more accurate to me though.

Just a correction folks: Pinecrest was the production company of the late Bill and Andy Eichhorn. A father and son team from Pennsylvania. I had the great pleasure being a hobbyist with them.
