Stepping out of my comfort zone here.  Trying to make a lowered 2WD Blazer.  I want independent front suspension, so I hacked up the chassis from the AMT C-1500 Sportside.  I have the wheelbase right.  Just hacking away to make stuff fit right now.  The wheels are temporary, I *think*.

Going to be an interesting build. Saw a lowered 2WD on a trailer a few months back, looked quite different from what I am used to. Also as Greg said I am not a fan of those type wheels. They are directional which makes them more of a challenge to get correct.

Nice start!? I’m not a fan of those wheels, but they do have the correct 5 lugs for a 2wd version.

Yeah, I agree.  I had an '84 Vette years ago.  I've tried to add those style wheels to multiple builds, but they never look right.

Like the 2 wheel drive conversion. The Corvette wheels would work depending on the look you're after but notice that they are a directional design and when you do your final mounting remember to make sure of the wheel's direction.

Decided on rally wheels from the C-1500 kit.  Going with a no trim smooth look.  Fighting with the ghosting but I think I've got it gone.

The top is badly warped.  Going to have to give that attention.

Going to use the 350 out of the C-1500 kit.

A good trick on the warped top is to heat it with an ordinary hairdryer. If that wont work, PM me. I have 2 extra ones.

Thanks man.  I appreciate the offer, but I have the Jimmy kit also.  I'll check that one out if I can't fix this one.  Heck, I might go topless.  :)

In 30+ years of model making, I just realized that I've never done a brown paint job.  ?‍♂️

Polishing on going...
