I built this kit some time ago and didn't really care for the finished product.  So, after staring at it on the work bench I decided to tear it apart, shorten it, and turn it into a Gasser.  I wanted a Big ole nasty engine sticking out of the hood so I turned to Iceman Collections and bought a BAE Top Fuel Hemi Engine.  I also bought a set of 17/15-inch Classic Five Slot Wheels W/Drag Slicks from Jay's on ebay.  You can see from the pics I cut out about 3/4" from the box and glued it back to the cab.  I can't cut the wheel well opening until I get my wheels & tires which are out for delivery today.  I have the chassis cut but but before I cut anymore I wan't to trial fit the wheels.

Yeah, I know this is right up your alley Roger.

I got the chassis glued back together and fitting pretty good.  Next will be cutting out the rear wheels wells in the proper location.

Interesting project.

Thanks fellows.  I took a hard look at this build and I'm not satisfied with the rear wheel location.
