eran_k Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 as the title says, there are a lot of Impreza WRC kits out there, which one is the best? tia Eran
Jim B Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 Personally, I have never built one, but you generally can't go wrong with Tamiya.
spencer1984 Posted September 11, 2023 Posted September 11, 2023 If you want a proper WRC, Tamiya is the way to go. Fujimi makes several good WRX kits as well, if you'd be interested in a street version.
OldNYJim Posted September 11, 2023 Posted September 11, 2023 Revell made a WRC kit too, which beats the Tamiya in some respects because it includes a 20-something piece engine...if that matters to you.
eran_k Posted September 11, 2023 Author Posted September 11, 2023 Tamiya has 4\5 different Impreza models which of them is the best or they are all more or less the same?
stitchdup Posted September 11, 2023 Posted September 11, 2023 it depends which driver you want but most are available from the aftermarket anyway so i'd just choose the one you like best. i think tamiya do them all in various liveries. Theres also a lot of other aftermarket parts for the tamiya kits, from tyres and lights right through to fully detailed engine bays. spot model in spain carry most of upgrades for the tamiya kits but they are available from loads of other places too
Deathgoblin Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 I've got the Revell kit and it's pretty nice. The engine looks really good once it's done.
afx Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 I have a few of the Tamiya kits if you would like to work out a trade.
