olmadmodeler Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 MANX MY WAY, Here is the AMT Manx I did a little different deep dish cragars in the back, new gauges, a Tiki shifter, a surfer foot gas pedal, a new steering wheel, a Corvair motor, Bikini top. Woody sides. Wheelie Bars. Mustang Tail lights. 7
espo Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 Like all the details you have added. The top and rear fabric cover look great, and the body side trim gives a different look to the body. What sort of clear metallic looking paint did you use?
Slotto Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 Great looking Street Fighter. Nice use of the Corvair engine 1
ea0863 Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 I LOVE everything about this build; a woody Manx with a monster motor, mag wheels, and Hawaiian theme. How could it get better? 1
olmadmodeler Posted September 10, 2023 Author Posted September 10, 2023 Thank you all, David it came from Hobby Lobby the pictures are not very good it is a gold metal flake,
carrucha Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 Cool dune buggy. Nice changes in the interior. Good job!
karbuildr Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 Nice dune buggy, great flake paint job which these vehicles were famous for. I like the Cragars and that decal between the headlights is very cool. 1
Yeah Nah Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 Top build! Very creative mods too - a dune buggy with woody sides yet! Love it.
XYHARRY Posted September 11, 2023 Posted September 11, 2023 Clever mods on your Manx there Steve. Everything is right about this. Well done and thanks for sharing. Cheers, David. ??
Rattlecan Dan Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 Uniquely personalized. Nice touches and well done.
Dann Tier Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 I really love everything you did to this!
echo Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 It came out great ! I love Dune Buggies, all the personal touches you did just add so much to the kit. I have a stalled Manx that I need to finish, maybe seeing such a nice build will inspire me to finish it. Great little model.
