Finks Garage Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 This started as a bad resin casting. The body was warped as you can see the area behind the cab tilts upward, and lots of soft details. I figured it would make a good weathering project. Sitting on a Tamiya van chassis. Suspension was lowered to show aged, worn-out parts and the tires had some of the bottoms shaved off to show low/deflated tires. Added the rear canopy and bars. The junk on the bed consists of a resin Finks Garage engine in pieces, 2 of the Jackman rims mounted on tires and a huge cardboard box filled with who knows what. Inside the cab is another box with resin exhaust pipe and muffler. The headlights that came with it were terrible, so I left them off and added wires to show them being removed. I made a simple base to display it on. Might go back and add the taillights but kind of like the way it looks like it has been slightly picked over for parts. Enjoy. 7
NOBLNG Posted September 28, 2023 Posted September 28, 2023 Nice work. Way to make use of less than stellar materials.? 1
