I just love these things! The grit lasts forever, and they will bend to suit curved surfaces. I filled the recessed cut-out in the AMT Corvette hood…but as it turns out, it  has a flat spot  in the center of its compound curved outer surface.? So I slathered on some Tamiya putty and am in the process of sanding it back to a nice smooth curved surface. These things should make it much easier.

Yeah this brand of sand paper is great. I own all the types even the zebra type. The pads clog up fast sanding primer though, but so does Tamiya. You should try there sticky sheets that work for there photoetch mini sticks or basically anything you could stick em too. Great for getting into tiny areas, and I think go all the way up too 7k.

Those are thick. I have been using sanding sticks from a beauty supply store. The brand is Tropical Shine and they last a long time, providing they get washed when they get loaded up. Great for wet sanding too.

Greg and Dusty, I think that probably everything Infini makes is great.  I know them from their PE sets for ships, some amazing sets.  I have their cutting grid mats and I highly recommend them.

Yeah I have the type A mat. It’s great if I need something smaller than Tamiya’s 1mm.

That's exactly what I use! They wash up, beautifully.
