Intmd8r Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 (edited) Another quick build. My son has been playing Need for Speed games lately and asked me to build him one of his favourite cars. He had complete influence on the design: only rule was that he had to pick parts and decals from my “parts box”. The Miata, extreme camber, or the exhaust is not my style, but he’s thrilled with it. He asked that the paint be white and fade to black. I added my own influence with the zebra stripes. Edited November 11, 2023 by Intmd8r 6
karbuildr Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 That's different, I like it. Very cool build.
Yeah Nah Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 Real nice! Well done on the tricky paint application too.
Dragonhawk1066 Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 Looks good, and definitely has that Need For Speed flavor. I'm with you though, I just can't figure out that extreme camber craze, lol.

This would make the car easier to drift in a corner. Stretched tires were a means of fitting the widest offset wheels under a car without making contact to the fender. Somehow, this became a fad. Looks cartoonish to me. Thanks to everyone for the positive feedback!
happy grumpy Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 Now that's a cool paint job. Nice subject too.
ncbuckeye67 Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 That paint is amazing! I've never seen anything like it before.
ea0863 Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 Just awesome Steve! Like you, I've been many a model with my son (including a replica of his 3000GT), and they automatically become treasured memories.
