Tamiya Lexus Zent Cerumo SC 2006

Recommended Posts

Good afternoon everyone!

I finished my next Tamiya 24303 model - Lexus Zent Cerumo SC 2006.

The model is built practically out of the box. Used - Studio27 SC430.

Tamiya LP series paint was used for painting. The model is coated with 2K varnish. Car polishes were used.

Enjoy watching.

Pretty cool looking Lexus. I have done this kit but in a different livery. I am wondering about the paint division between the red and silver. Is that a red  decal  that separates the two colors and did you have to match the paint to the decal. If so you did an outstanding job. It looks flawless.

Thank you very much for your feedback!
Painting the model was the most difficult part of assembling the model.
The model was first painted silver and red.
According to the instructions, namiya TS-49 should be used.
I don't use cylinders.
That’s why I chose tamiya LP-50 to match the color of the sticker.
The body color must match the color of the sticker.

It has been my experience with Tamiya that they usually match their decals to their paint line.  And LP50 is the match for TS49.  So next Tamiya project keep that in mind and follow the instructions. (which you did)   And test first, of course.  This one turned out perfect.
