Making my own fire truck

Starting out with the GMC General cab and omitting the hood. Added pieces from AMT/ALF kit. Will be a Bondo buggy. Will be doing different rear body.

Real nice start so far Greg! I don’t venture into this big rig section often, but this sure looks like an interesting project…I think I’ll follow along.?

Agree those headlights strongly give the suggestion of Crown, but the overall cab also kind of reminds me of Freightliner's short lived Fireliner cab.

 

Looks good, will be interesting to see where you go with it.
