Gene Moody’s 1955 Chevy gasser

I made this with the first release of the 55 Chevy sedan kit that included all the gasser parts from the nomad kit. The rear wheels were sourced from the amt 33 Willy’s kit , and the front wheels are from the old amt ertl 1970 Camaro. The white wall front tires are amt items from the parts box I got the decals from southern Motorsport hobbies. The paint is good old testors gold enamel topped with wet look clear . I made the headers from solder and aluminum tubing. Until next time thanks for looking, mike IMG_3043.thumb.jpeg.aceb7fbc6b7594c261eb6a57a68803be.jpegIMG_3044.thumb.jpeg.49c16beceb97c869b7f0e504d42f3402.jpegIMG_3045.thumb.jpeg.0b5d6e1c6db242eee39ef3437dad5c56.jpegIMG_3046.thumb.jpeg.7e29fa1b6ec80f01e77b71e87f87f9a5.jpegIMG_3047.thumb.jpeg.5be98f40df13fbd2f5dd1d1f40453e57.jpegIMG_3050.thumb.jpeg.df96b6e11ef2215b18003acc4540d368.jpegIMG_3049.thumb.jpeg.b20f1dca186e3e152f9be9838be13497.jpegIMG_3048.thumb.jpeg.671bbd50c0878b94a0a8188b5ee88d34.jpeg

Can't go wrong with a 55 Chevy Gasser.  I'm diggin it.

I can’t agree more . For some reason I like to build a couple of them every year around the end of February and early march

Has a rugged " I been used" look to it. Nice job.

Thanks I fully agree the wheel well cut out are a little rough unpolished rear mags , and the nose high stance all lend to that look
