Ross Chastain Darlington Throwback

My first of the Next-Gen builds. Started life as the Chase Elliott kit, but wasn’t happy with the body and/or paint. Therefore, I stripped it down and started again. That’s why the tires have the modern yellow print and not the throwback. Broke the small shark fin during the transition, so waiting on a replacement.

Well done!  Not the easiest kit to get together, I had trouble deciphering the instructions.  Love the livery.

Yeah, it looks great when finished, but certainly not the most enjoyable to build in my opinion.

Excellent build and great choice doing the Chastain car over the Elliott car. I only have one Chastain next gen build and would like to build all of his winners, but these kits are way too hard for me to enjoy building. And very expensive too. Too bad you can't get them at hobby lobby for 40 % off. After postage they are really through the roof.
