TonyK Posted February 29, 2024 Posted February 29, 2024 I've enjoyed him the last few years in Curb Your Enthusiasm. He will be missed.
webestang Posted February 29, 2024 Posted February 29, 2024 RIP my funny man. I liked him in "Wagon's East" with John Candy. Crazy though, a couple of weeks ago I found one of his stand up specials on VHS (I'm Doomed) at the local thrift shop.
Can-Con Posted February 29, 2024 Posted February 29, 2024 (edited) For a long time a lot of people believed that the first part of Billy Joel's song "My Life" was referring to Richard Lewis but Joel has said it's actually about Tony Lawrence. "Got a call from an old friend, we used to be real close Said he couldn't go on the American way Closed the shop, sold the house, bought a ticket to the West Coast Now he gives them a stand-up routine in LA" My favorite Richard Lewis bit is from 2&1/2 men. Just perfect. ? Edited February 29, 2024 by Can-Con 1 2
